Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Carefully slice each date lengthwise on one side to create a pocket.
Using a small spoon or a piping bag, fill each date with approximately 1 tablespoon of peanut butter.
If using chocolate, melt the dark chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl in 20-second intervals until smooth.
Dip each stuffed date into the melted chocolate, ensuring they are thoroughly coated.
Sprinkle the chopped nuts on top of the chocolate-covered dates.
Lightly sprinkle a pinch of sea salt over each date.
Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 5-7 minutes.
Let the stuffed dates cool to room temperature or refrigerate for about 30 minutes.
Notes
For an elegant touch, drizzle any leftover melted chocolate over the top and serve with a bowl of chopped nuts.
